Filipka Rutkowska, “What Stays The Same After We Change II”, performance

15 September 2023, 19:00 and 20:00

BERLIN, COSTUMES AND COLLAPSE, ARCHIVE

‘What Stays The Same After We Change’ is a performance in the state of constant rehearsal, combining monodrama, ritual, stand-up and night life show. Ever evolving work reflects on the idea of change from the non-binary perspective, where oppositions such as physical space and ephemeral presence merge into one. With every show some parts of the work are created once again and extended by provisionally arranged and unstable identities that correspond with a new place of presentation.

The performance is a part of Berlin Art Week
Free admission.
Language: English
Duration: 40 minutes

Doors open at 18:30.  First performance starts at 19:00. Second performance starts at 20:00.

Filipka Rutkowska is a multidisciplinary artist and art historian working at the intersection of performance, theater and drawing. Her work is focused on relations between body, architecture and society from a gender fluid perspective.
